Who we are

PumpDown is an iOS app developed by Samed Nakhla ("we", "us", "our"). You can reach us at samednakhla@gmail.com.

What data we collect

None.

PumpDown does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers. All data you enter into the app — pump sessions, ounces logged, goals, settings — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's local storage APIs.

What stays on your device

The following data is stored locally on your iPhone and never leaves it:

• Pump session logs (date, time, duration, ounces, breast side, notes)
• Your freezer stash goal and daily consumption settings
• Reminder preferences and quiet hours
• App appearance settings (night mode, units)
• Purchase status (stored locally and via Apple's StoreKit)

No account required

PumpDown requires no account, no sign-up, and no email address. You can use the app from the moment you download it without providing any personal information.

No analytics or tracking

We do not use any third-party analytics SDKs, crash reporting tools, or advertising frameworks. We do not track how you use the app. We do not use cookies or any persistent identifiers.

In-app purchases

PumpDown's one-time unlock purchase ($4.99) is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not see or store your payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs that transaction: apple.com/legal/privacy.

Notifications

If you enable pump reminders, PumpDown uses Apple's local notification APIs to schedule reminders on your device. These notifications are generated locally and do not involve any external servers.

Data export

PumpDown allows you to export your session history as a CSV file. This export is initiated entirely by you and saved wherever you choose on your device. We have no involvement in or access to exported data.

Children's privacy

PumpDown is designed for adults (specifically, breastfeeding parents). We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. As we collect no data from anyone, this is straightforwardly satisfied.

Data deletion

To delete all your data, use the "Reset all data" option in Settings within the app, or simply delete the app from your device. Since we hold no data on our end, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how PumpDown handles data, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. We will also notify you via an app update if the change is significant.
